The contracts that may be concluded and promoted by the Agent are those relating to the provision of payment services as defined in articles 1, paragraph 1, letter b), and 2, paragraph 2, of Legislative Decree no. 11 of 27 January 2010.

Payment service agents may also carry out their activities on behalf of several intermediaries.

Agents in payment services on behalf of EU EMIs or PIs, in addition to their agency activity, may carry out other commercial activities, provided that their organizational and accounting separateness from operations in the payments sector is ensured.

Agents in payment services are precluded from operating in the granting of credit, even if connected to the payment services for which they have been given a mandate.
